All buildings of Hatyai University have been renovated into smart buildings by installing Smart Facilities, resulting in a Total campus smart building area (excluding the Dormitory) of 79,035 m2 as shown in the table.

  Hatyai  University has begun utilizing natural power as follows: a solar power system project (Solar PV Rooftop) to install a solar power generation system on the rooftops of Surathani Building (Building 3) and Sport Complex and Student Activity Center (Building 4), Phuket Building (Building 8) which generate a total of 450 kilowatts of electricity as illustrated.
